Massachusetts native Nathan Tidd is an independent researcher of New England history.
The opening skirmish of the American Revolution in Lexington, Massachusetts, which included four Tidd cousins, is a favorite research topic. In the company of other Tidds he talks about little else, and often recruits family members to help with his research.
While the Tidd name drove Nathan’s initial interest, none of the participants in what Lexington locals called “The Fight” are his direct ancestors. They do, however, have fascinating stories.
The Fight itself might be the greatest true suspense story in American history.
